Potraits
of a Vampire
*NEW*
"...So vampires fun, a pining for love, and
some hot romantic tension make this book a great read. As has often
been my complaint, there needed to be more. The ending rushed together
a bit too fast compared with the pacing of the rest of the book. I definitely
want to read more of this authors work. I actually really hope Kaylynn
and Elijah pop up in a sequel. There was a side character in there who
calls out for her own story."

"Vampires. Lately, they are all the rave. I’m
a vampire lover, but even I was beginning to get a little tired. That
was until I read Turning Ash by Crymsyn Hart.
Ms. Hart presents a dark vampire novel in a totally new light. The
first thing that caught my attention was the realistic way in which
she depicts the internet...As someone that has moved and still moves
inside Goth circles and can’t spend more than a few days without
connecting to the internet, I loved the way Ms. Hart depicted some of
Ashling’s feelings, and her views on the Internet. Ms. Hart definitely
knows how to engage a reader’s attention and keep it throughout.
She gave me a thoroughly enjoyable read and the hope that there are
still fresh vampire tales to tell. Way to go Ms. Hart!"

"...Complete with hunters more blood-thirsty than
the vamps and a traumatic twist that's emotional enough to wrench tears
from a rock, Turning Ash is a great vampire story. Told entirely through
Ashling's experiences, you find yourself completely caught up in her
doubts and fears. She's strong enough to take care of herself, but smart
enough to know when she's facing more than she can handle alone. Unfortunately,
Markus left me a bit cold. There was very little sexual intensity about
him, while Devlin comes across as one hot stud. It should have been
the other way around.
Nevertheless, if you like a good vampire story and don't mind a little
less than expected romance and sex, pick this book up today. You won't
regret it. There's little drag in the action and enough dangling threads
at the end for at least two sequels. I'd like to see Devlin redeem himself
and something good come Herod's way. There are a lot of unanswered questions
about who Markus really is and whether or not Ash will willingly take
that final step into bona fide vampirism."

she is strong enough to stand on her own two feet, she also knows that
she cannot always be her own savor. This makes her a very likeable and

"...This is one of my first experiences with the
combination writing style of Dahlia Rose and Crymsyn Hart and How to
Ruin Easter for a Werewolf was a wonderful introduction to this duo.
I found myself laughing and fanning so much that I hated to see the
story end. Is there a dull moment in this book? No, not one! I found
myself feeling sorry for Sebastian a few times, but then thought about
it and realized he knew exactly what he was getting when he chose Demona.
The cast of character’s range from sassy to sneaky and each adds
something unique to the book. I felt like I was reading a very adult
version of Alice in Wonderland. There are small doses of action and
suspense laced throughout the tale, with enough sexual scenes to require
a fan and a tall drink of water. If you’ve enjoyed previous books

up a copy of How to Ruin Easter for a Werewolf, you won’t be disappointed.."

quite enjoyed this sexy romp through New York. I also realized that
this is part of a series and I definitely want to read the others. I
absolutely loved the main characters, werewolves Sebastian and Demona,
who love to eat people with as much reverence as eating a deer. The
descriptions even made my mouth water. Does that make me a cannibal?

in the Dark: A Raven Saga Book 3
"... Hart's story had a melancholy feeling
to it that reminded me a little of Poe's raven. The mood of this novel
beautifully conveyed a sense of the raven's character. I thought this
fit in really well with the the whole paranormal romance theme. Too
many paranormal books today try to be tongue-in-cheek about the whole
thing, which can be funny if I'm in the right mood, but it takes the
fear factor out of it completely. Hart has kept up the thriller edge
in WHISPERS IN THE DARK, giving it a genuinely gothic feel that I love
to find in paranormal novels, and which I think enhances the romantic
parts as well.
And speaking of romance, here it is sweet and
exciting and satisfying - and everything else you would want it to be
in this romantic thriller. There is an authentic attraction built up
between Seth and Jayd that makes you route for them as they struggle
to overcome the many obstacles keeping them from each other. I don't
want to put out any spoilers, so I'll just vaguely throw it out there
that another thing I liked about WHISPERS IN THE DARK was that the main
characters were not immune to evil."

"...I give this book 4 tombstones. Ms. Hart’s description
of the characters is well written and creates a vivid picture in the
reader’s mind. She does an admirable job of drawing the reader
into the story and writing a gripping tale. While there is some adult
content in this book, it is well written and adds to the development
of the characters relationship.
I have to admit, after reading the first few pages, I
was a little hesitant to continue the book. I normally stay away from
novels that have a horror type element to them because I have an active
imagination at night, but I felt myself drawn into the tale that Ms.
Hart weaves and found myself turning each page just to find out what
happened next. The dark circus that she creates in her novel is a creepy

calling her! You never know what you might find when you go walking

the paranormal is just part of the scenery. She adds in some great background
about Avalon and the lineage of her witches that makes everything believable.
Her characters are complex and true-to-life and she has some great villains
in this piece for her heroes to triumph over. The pace is quick and
the romance heartwarming. A nice start for this collection of stories!

Thanks so much Sandi for the great review!
"This is the first story in the Midnight Encounters
Anthology. I liked how Hart didn't dwell too much on what happened during
the time Celeste and Tristan were apart. I kept wanting to read to find
out what was happening between these two soul mates. It has heavy sex
scenes as well as heavy sexual language, to warn those who might find
that offensive.
...As a whole, Midnight Encounters was very well written. All of the
stories have sex scenes, but none of which drag the reader away from
the storyline or plot. Every reader is bound to find something they
like in each story, and the authors each bring something different and
original to the table, which helped to maintain my interest in each
story, and also to keep me reading to find out what the next author
had in store for me. It's a great Halloween read as well, seeing as
how each story takes place on or around Halloween, and each story has
a tie-in to the affect the Halloween season has on each of them, whether
they're a vampire, witch, or shifter."
