Gods and Goblins, oh my!

Love You Divine

“How do you know that?” She moved her palm over it until her skin tingled where the scar was hidden. Lugh took it and kissed the inside of her hand, in the center of the concealed star. He met her eyes and smiled naughtily. He brought it to his cheek and ran it along his jaw line. He leaned in mischievously. Kalliope found her eyes closing as she was giving herself over to him.

“All in time, Kalliope,” he breathed against her lips. He kissed her lightly and playfully licked the tip of her finger. “Now, are you happy to see me?”

Kalliope opened her eyes and bridged the distance between them, kissing him hard. He was not going to tell her anything else unless he wanted to share. “Of course I am.”

The softness of his finger traced over the cut on her shoulder.

“I didn’t give you this. Where did you get this wound? Come to think of it, how did you get here? Mortals are not allowed in this realm.”

Kalliope sighed. The mood Lugh had evoked vanished. She walked over and pulled on the gown Dustbunny had given her. It was made of green gauze and hung low on her shoulders. It was too long and dragged behind her. The material clung to her form and showed off her breasts. It made her feel like she was a wood sprite about to go frolicking. If that were the case, then she would certainly fit in. She sat on the outcropping of rocks and stared into the depths of the water, watching the siren swimming near the bottom of the pool. The creature swam harmoniously in her own element and when the being noticed her, she waved from under the water. Kalliope reached down and raked her hand over the glass-like surface. The pool remained undisturbed. If the god didn’t know she was coming, then how did the other goblin know to rescue her?

“Kalli, tell me what happened.” Lugh ran his hand over her collarbone and trailed it to the cut she had gotten.

“After we…well, you know.” Kalliope blushed. The overwhelming feelings she associated with him floated to the surface, and she was swept away. Kalliope swallowed. She closed her eyes and drew in a breath, feeling the stone beneath her before she could face him again.

“It was quite amazing, wasn’t it?”

“Well no. I mean yes, but that’s not what I’m talking about. Lugh, it was mind blowing, but that’s not the point.”

"Sorry,” he mumbled and kissed the side of her throat. Kalliope closed her eyes and moved her neck slightly to let him have more of her flesh. One arm came around and rested on her belly. Heat from the center of his palm moved into her stomach and flared all her energy points to life again. Kalliope curled her toes and bit her lip. Suddenly her mind was once again filled with light. It was bright as sunlight and bathed her insides.

Why does he have to do this?

Because I can, he returned her thought. And I know you crave it now. Everywhere I touched you, I baptized you in my power. I’ll be with you until the end of your days if that is what you choose.

You spoiled me for any other humans.

I know, he chuckled. And I know you love it.

Her head fell back against his chest and her free hand found a groove in the rock so she was able to get a hold of something solid to remind herself she was not in heaven. She could not refute what he had said because they both knew it was true. She wanted him every waking moment. Kalliope could not mask her thoughts from him.

“Kalli,” Lugh murmured.

“Yes.”

“Do you want me again?”
